Short exhibition description: Home? A place to belong? Feeling safe in a particular place? What does one need to feel at home? What does it mean to be at home, for you and the people around you? Or is home purely a state of mind? Is it an idea? "Odyssey: The Idea of Home" is a long, deep journey into the idea of "home" from the perspective of diverse artists from various places around the world – and thus also Trier. This includes a Ukrainian evening of songs and film, various literary readings, and an exhibition on the highly successful city tour "Wind of Change – Trier's East", along with the film "Heimatschuss", which presents an unsettling dystopia. Artworks and installations by various artists will also be on display.
