The large-format digital print shifts the small animal into a completely different scale, breaking with familiar image conventions. From a distance, the wide-open beak is recognizable; up close, the motif dissolves into pure structure. This shift between recognizability and resolution formally stands for 2024: a year marked by sensory overload and fragmentation.
